PANE IN THE GLASS PRODUCTIONS

 COUNTRY GIRL

Take me away from the noise of the city,
Where motor vehicles and exhaust fumes rage;
Decisions to make and demands to meet,
Not to mention ulcers and sore feet.

Give me a small cottage on a country lane,
A gentle breeze rippling ?cross a pond,
Squirrels and rabbits playing kissy face,
A colorful sunrise and lots of space.

It makes more sense to be a country girl,
To go barefooted in a grassy field,
Than to have a job working eight to five.
Can you think of a better way to survive?
